Drips and visible leaks

Small leak. Real damage.

An under-sink drip or damp supply connection can quietly damage cabinets and floors. JT traces visible fixture-area leaks and explains the next step before work begins.

Call before it spreads

  • Water or staining appears under a sink.
  • A supply line, shutoff valve, or fixture connection feels damp.
  • A faucet drips after being shut off.
  • The cabinet smells musty or the bottom has begun to swell.
  • A small visible leak returns after being wiped dry.

What to do now

If water is actively escaping, use the nearest working shutoff valve and dry the area. Move stored items out of the cabinet. If you cannot stop the water safely, use the home's main shutoff and call for help.

Know when the problem is bigger

Hidden wall, slab, underground, or major line leaks require specialized diagnostics and may require a licensed plumbing contractor. JT is direct about scope and will tell you when a specialist is the correct call.

Stop the drip before the cabinet pays for it.
